Text Box: John Waggott is recently retired from his position as a Staff Engineer with Dresser-Rand in Wellsville, New York. He has over thirty years experience in the Aero-thermodynamic design and development of steam and gas turbines. John’s work has covered the creation and development of aerodynamic design systems, the design of a broad range of steam and gas turbine flowpaths, and experimental work on many aspects of turbine performance. A diversified early career in Aerospace, Petrochemical and Nuclear industries provided an appropriate foundation for his specialization in industrial turbomachinery. John holds a number of patents and has authored several technical papers covering a broad field of turbomachinery topics.
